Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book my wedding flowers?
I would always recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding season dates between May and September. Some couples book over a year in advance, while others may only need flowers for a smaller wedding at shorter notice. Please feel free to get in touch to check availability for your date.
Do you have a minimum spend?
For full bespoke wedding floristry, there is a £500 minimum spend on fresh flowers (excluding silk florals, prop hire and delivery) depending on the date, location and scale of the wedding. Smaller weddings and seasonal package orders are always welcome, so please do get in touch to discuss your plans. See the Prices & Process page for more information.
What areas do you cover?
I’m based near Wellington in the Blackdown Hills and cover weddings across Somerset and Devon within approximately a 25-mile radius, including Taunton, Tiverton, Cullompton, Honiton and surrounding areas. Whether you're getting married in a church, a stately home, a countryside venue, a marquee or your own garden, I can design flowers to suit your setting and style.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes - initial consultations are usually carried out by phone or video call, giving us the chance to chat through your ideas, venue, colours and floral style. Follow-up meetings can then be arranged closer to the wedding date if needed. See my process page for more info.
Can you work within my budget?
Yes Absolutely. Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a large wedding, I can help create beautiful flowers to suit your budget.
It's worth remembering that many of the stunning images you see on Pinterest and Instagram feature hundreds or even thousands of pounds worth of flowers. If your dream design doesn't quite match your budget, don't worry, I'll happily suggest alternative flowers, seasonal options and creative ideas that capture the same overall feel without compromising on style.
My aim is always to be realistic, transparent and help you get the very best value from your wedding flowers.
Can I request specific flowers?
Of course. If there are particular flowers you’ve always dreamed of including, I’ll always do my best to source them for your wedding day. Availability can sometimes depend on the season and market conditions, but I’ll happily suggest beautiful alternatives where needed.
Do you use seasonal flowers?
Yes - I love working with seasonal flowers and natural colour palettes wherever possible. Seasonal blooms not only look beautiful and feel more natural, but they also tend to offer the best quality and value.
Do you provide church and venue flowers?
Yes. I can provide everything from bouquets and buttonholes through to ceremony flowers, church arrangements, table flowers and venue styling.
Do you set up the flowers on the wedding day?
Yes - delivery and set-up are included for most weddings. I’ll carefully deliver and arrange your flowers at your venue so everything is ready and looking beautiful before your guests arrive. If floral pieces are being repurposed during the ceremony and then used again at the venue, I will be there to move them across while you are having your pictures taken, so no need to delegate guests to do it for you!
Do you offer flower arch or large installation hire?
Yes, depending on availability and the style of your wedding. Please get in touch to discuss larger floral installations, statement pieces or venue styling ideas.
Can I hire silk flowers instead of fresh flowers?
Yes - I offer a selection of silk flower arrangements available to hire, which can be a lovely option for larger displays, arches or couples looking for a more budget-friendly alternative. My collection is growing and I am happy to discuss colour changes to my standard white flower/foliage displays.
Do you offer DIY flower buckets?
Yes. DIY flower buckets are perfect for creative couples wanting to arrange some of their own flowers for tables, jam jars or venue styling. Each bucket contains a seasonal selection of flowers and foliage in your chosen colour palette. Please note there is a minimum order and delivery charges will be added.
What happens to the flowers after the wedding?
Many flowers can be repurposed after the ceremony or reception, and I’m always happy to discuss ways to make the most of your arrangements. I also offer resin flower preservation keepsakes using selected flowers from your bouquet.
How does the resin flower preservation work?
Selected flowers from your bouquet are carefully dried and preserved before being arranged into a handcrafted resin keepsake. Pieces can often be personalised with names and wedding dates to create a lasting reminder of your special day.
How do payments work?
A booking retainer fee is required to secure your wedding date, with the remaining balance due before the wedding day. Full payment details and timings will be included within your quotation and booking information.
How do I get started?
Simply fill in the contact form at the top of this page and send me a message with your wedding date, venue and any initial ideas you may have. I’d love to hear more about your plans and discuss how I can help create your wedding flowers.
